Sources & methodology

Every regulated claim on Disclara cites a structured source object with issuer, type, canonical URL, publication and effective dates, last-checked date and review status.

Source model

• source_id — stable identifier referenced by rules and content
• issuer and source_type — law, guidance, platform policy, standard or first-party announcement
• canonical_url — the primary source, not a summary
• effective_from / last_checked_at / status — freshness is product functionality
• content_hash / reviewed_by — versioned human review

Editorial rules

• Regulatory pages must cite primary legal or regulatory sources.
• Platform pages cite first-party platform policies wherever available.
• No automatic publication of legal interpretation from detected diffs — a human reviews every change.
• Uncertainty is visible: answers end in one of four states, including “Human review required”.
• We never claim guaranteed compliance. Our framing: “Based on the information supplied and the rules currently tracked by Disclara…”
